Change of Plans Chapter FiveI might have been calm and cool when I left Ezra that night but I shut the door behind me to my own room I leaned against the door frame and palmed my face.
"What the f " I mumbled quietly and slunk to the floor.
How could such a thing be possible? A giant. A giant living here. My parents must know about such a thing, otherwise they would have never stopped here. I mean would they? Would they?? I had to have answers, I'm sure Ezra himself could tell me but I knew there was at least one person that could really help me out with this. I removed my hand from my face and looked towards the heavens.
"The internet," I whispered and jumped off the floor and ran to my computer.
"Giants " I typed quickly and hit search.
Nothing. Nothing that would really help me. I didn't really care about baseball, or bears, or the Guinness Book of World Record holders. The tallest man to eve

Dam dam and double dam. It was too late.
Suddenly, there was an unlatching of the door, someone had come! It was too late now, but at least somebody was coming! I could at least apologize to Ezra and Aiden. But who would have come let alone knowing that it was too late? The door slowly opened and the hallway was filled with light so at first I could barely see anything. But eventually my eyes adjusted and I gasped loudly to find the one person that I had never imagined standing at the door was there.
"Mom," I whispered in surprise.
Her eyes were watery for some reason and she came into my room slowly and closed the door behind her. Carefully she crossed the floor and sat on my canopy bed and patted the spot next to her.
"Come sit," she said quietly and I obeyed.
"Your father means well Terra you must understand that,"
"Hells to the no I don't understand that.
Change of Plans Chapter Four"You're the one that's weird," I scoffed.
"You know, I could take your insults a bit more seriously if you would just come out of the car. It's weird talking to you like this."
"You're the one who has to look at me while we're talking, you could just sit up like a normal person "
"Normal?" he blurted out loudly. "You and I both can tell I'm not normal. I already said you would be safe around me didn't I? If I wanted to hurt you, I'm sorry for saying so, but there wouldn't be anything you could do to stop me. You're stuck here you know that right?"
I gasped quietly. "No," I replied. "How am I stuck?"
"The doors, you may have been able to get in here, but once you shut the door, I'm the only one who can let you out. It's safer that way. If you would get out of the car you could see that Clover."
"Terra," I growled.
To my horror then the giant reached out and gently laid his hand o
Change of Plans Chapter ThreeIt was around midnight when I decided to play detective and I creaked the door open and took in my surroundings before proceeding. My parents and Aiden basically let me do my own thing the rest of the night; my dinner was actually brought up to my room by Aiden who was not nearly as strange as he was earlier that day. I thought it was so strange that only a few hours after our conversation he simply placed my dinner down next to me at the computer and quietly walked out.
I shook my head as I walked down the hallway just thinking about how weird he was and how much I didn't think I enjoyed his company. He was attractive though, it was strange that he didn't have a wife or girlfriend living here with him.
Unless I allowed my imagination to run wild his woman was what was in the ballroom that he didn't want me to venture into. Maybe he was keeping her there as a slave, only able to take care of him away from the public eye.
APH - Battle of BritainHigh above the southern English countryside, New Zealand, Poland and Canada flew their two Group 11 formations toward the oncoming Luftwaffe.
"Ok guys, you know the drill, divide and conquer." Zea's voice crackled over the radio. "Oh and just to let you know . . I'm trying something 'unorthodox' today" she said, mocking England's tone of voice.
"Zea, I don't think you should" Matthew's voice was whispery with concern, "Arthur won't be pleased . ." he also wanted to add " . . and it's too dangerous, I don't want you to get hurt . ." but that was sort of redundant and, well, he didn't want to risk sounding . . gay. He still couldn't figure out his feelings for this guy, his supposed foster brother country and current commander in the Royal Air Force. That incident in the shower rooms hadn't helped either.
"Well, it's just too bad for England I say. He wants his borders protected? I'll do anything I can to stop Germany. Just stick to the plan guys"
"Gotcha Captain!" Feliks' voi
Change of Plans Chapter OneWhen my family told me at the end of my senior year of high school that because I was going to college on the west coast that they all wanted to move out there, I was fine with it. Strangely, what I wasn't too found of was the fact that they wanted to use my summer to make a cross-country tour of the United States to get there. What was I going to do? It wasn't like I cared much that I was leaving my friends from high school behind. We were all going to be close and keep in contact through FacePage because it was where we felt the most confident, but I still wanted one last hurrah with them. My parents in general were pretty good minded people, but many people who were not my friends in school referred to them as hippies.
I guess it was true to the average onlooker. They were both independent bloggers on many sites that talked about organic lifestyles and vegan cuisine. Yes, it seems nerdy, but I swear I'm not
Genghis Whenever we were bad my mother used to take us to the mall to see Genghis Kahn. They kept him in a dusty diorama of a Mongolian steppe, all tall grass and yurts. He sat on a throne of bone (well, plastic shaped like bone), scowling in incomprehension at the American kids who flocked around him like startled lemmings. My mother would usually push us toward him, saying things like “Tell him what you did to your father’s stamp collection.” Genghis would give a grunt, spit a wad of phlegm onto the tall grass, and give us a wizened, wrinkled grimace, as if he had to go to the bathroom.
He terrified me.
My brother couldn’t get enough of him.
When my brother got caught in my mother’s evening dress, my mother grabbed us both and dragged us to Genghis. It was a slow day, and we were the only kids crowding him. “Tell him what you did,” my mother hissed a
