///EDIT: I have a commercial buyer for this piece, so I made some touch-ups -- not so much that it would change the look or feel (because the original is what they saw and they had to like it to want it), but enough so that I wouldn't run around in circles screaming and ripping out my hair because this untouched piece of ancientness was somewhere out there representing my art.///

Sorry, it's been a while since I uploaded

I haven't had a lot of time to myself, what with friends and homework. Then there are all those pictures I start but don't finish cuz I hate doing backgrounds....
haha.
Anyway, I've been practicing a more realistic approach... I looked at a lot of photos of people so I could understand how things work, mainly colors. I hadn't been using enough pink in the skin, it turns out

Its really good! I really like it, you showed a lot of emotions with just the eye, although I think for realism it should be redder.

This is beautiful o.o I especially love the colors in the eye, and I love that he looks so stunned... Not that I like seeing people in pain of course, I hate that, but I mean I love that anguish isn't written all over his face.
